These beads have a special coating which is what makes this bright color possible. I have run them through the dishwasher with detergent to test if they are colorfast and saw no discernible difference. I would,, however, recommend not leaving them in strong sunlight for extended periods just to be safe. 

As with any coated beads, for instance the iris, metallics, lusters, etc. the finish durability will depend on the amount of wear, and what type wear. For instance, a necklace that is always worn over clothing is going to have much less wear than a bracelet.
