What payment options are available? TOP

The Red Bead Boutique accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards through PayPal's online payment service as well as payments from registered PayPal accounts. All online payments are processed through Paypal's secure system. You do not need a Paypal account to make purchases online as PayPal is also processes valid credit card transactions for those who do not wish an account with them. Shipping Address TOP

To help protect against fraud, the shipping address for all orders must be the same as the billing address for the credit card or, if paying through your PayPal account, must be a confirmed address in your account at the time of the order. This is for your protection as well as ours.

What does shipping cost? TOP
Most orders are charged a flat rate of $5.00 for packages shipped to addresses within the U.S. If your mailing address is outside of the U.S. please contact us for information on shipping costs prior to placing your order. 


Domestic  packages are mailed either USPS First Class or Priority (for an additional charge) in most cases.  Some items will have a shipping surcharge due to the weight or bulkiness of the item. Those exceptions will be noted in the item description. This surcharge will be in addition to the flat fee shipping charge and you will be invoiced separately for the surcharge after your order is received. Orders will not ship until the additional shipping has been paid.

How long will it take for my order to ship? TOP

We do our best to ship packages within 2 business days after the order has been processed, This means that under some circumstances (clarifying order details, circumstances beyond our control,etc) it could take longer. It also could ship earlier. 

Our goal is to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Shipping days are currently Tuesday through Friday. Normally we do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays but there are times when there have been exceptions.

Will I be charged sales tax? TOP

Only orders originating from or shipping to California addresses will be charged 7.75% sales tax.

Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted? TOP

Orders can only be cancelled if we receive the cancellation before your order is pulled and packed.

Can I pay with a check or call in my credit card? TOP

Not at this time.

I have a California seller's permit, will I be charged sales tax? TOP

Not if you have a resale certificate on file with us prior to ordering AND are registered with a reseller's account through our online store. 
 
California state law requires us to have a filled out and signed copy of a resale certificate on file in order to make your order(s) tax exempt. This certificate must be on file at the time of your order or you will be charged sales tax.

The registration form can be found here. A blank resale certificate can be found here and must be received by us, completely filled out, dated and signed, prior to being approved for resale purchasing. 
 
Only items purchased for resale will be tax-exempt. Any orders for non-resale items (for instance tools, books, etc.) must submitted as a separate order. Doing otherwise will delay shipment. Any duplicate shipping charge as a result of submitting two separate orders will be refunded.

Will The Red Bead ever cancel an order? TOP

We reserve the right to cancel or question any order that appears to be questionable or fraudulent. This is for your protection as well as ours.

What if a package is lost or stolen in transit? TOP

The Red Bead will take every precaution to safeguard your shipment (proper packing, addressing, etc.) and each package will have a delivery confirmation.

 

We insure all packages. We cannot be responsible, however, for lost or stolen packages where the delivery has been confirmed by the postal carrier via the tracking information.

What if I receive the wrong item? TOP

All packages are carefully checked before shipping but in the event there is a problem please contact The Red Bead Boutique Customer Service within 3 days of receipt of your order. 


Please include your Order ID, your complete name with contact information, (phone number and email) and a short description of the problem. We will contact you to resolve the matter.

What if something I've ordered is out of stock? TOP

We do our best to maintain the availability of all items as well as a current online inventory at The Red Bead Boutique but in the event we are out of stock of a particular item you have ordered, a credit will be issued to your credit card or PayPal account, whichever applies.

Will you backorder items? TOP

The Red Bead does not offer a backorder service at this time.  We do our best to only display items we have in stock. If we are out of stock of an item, please reorder at a later date.   

What if I want to return something? TOP

We want you to be happy with your purchase. In the event that there is something in your order you wish to return, please contact us for a Return Authorization number and address for return shipping. Returns without an RA number will not be accepted.

All returns must be received by us within 2 weeks of delivery confirmation and must include a copy of your invoice with contact information.    

All items must be in the original, unopened condition or credit will not be given. There are no returns for books, magazines, Soft Flex, cut items (such as chain or cording), kits, class fees and/or materials, or clearance items. A store credit voucher minus any applicable shipping charges will be issued after receipt and approval of the returned merchandise.  If there are any questions about your return, The Red Bead will contact you.


Be sure all returns are well packed to prevent damage in shipping. We recommend you insure the package
 as we are not responsible for product returns that arrive damaged or are missing, and you will receive no credit for those items.  

Can my shopping cart be saved? TOP
Our current shopping cart system cannot be saved and will delete after a period of inactivity. If you wish to accumulate items over a period of time we recommend you use the Wish List option. Adding an item to your Wish List however, will not prevent it from being sold before you order.
