Cord ends are designed to securely hold the ends of leather and other cording materials. Crimp ends typically are used for round cords, such as Greek Leather and Soft Flex Beading Wire but it will also work well with Satin Cording in addition to many other types of cord.

 

Foldover ends generally are used for flat cording such as Microfiber Faux Suede Cords but you can also use it with ribbons and in some instances it works when you want to hold several strands of round cord.

 

However I choose to use the cord, I always add a little jeweler's cement before crimping or folding over for that extra bit of security.
